MMS is launching Ta’n Wetapegsulti’gw – which translates as

‘at the place where we descend from.’

This is a summer land use initiative open to the people of Gesgapegiag, Gespeg, and Listuguj. The MMS wants to showcase People’s rights and responsibilities that they exercise on our beautiful territory.  We invite the people of the three communities to share photos and stories about their summerland use in the Gespe’gewa’gi territory beyond their communities’ boundaries. By using the form to upload your files and the stories behind your land use, we can begin to gather valuable information on how our people use the land from historical and contemporary perspectives. This information will help us learn directly from your experiences with the land and support the preservation and protection of the territory.
