Nathalie is the MMS Consultation Manager. She has been working at the MMS for over a year and a half. She is trained in the human science, and Arc GIS PRO and is in the process of completing environmental monitoring training.

Nathalie feels that the essence of being Mi’gmaq is living how our ancestors taught us to live: by protecting the water, protecting the land, prioritizing conservation, and taking only what we need. Nathalie uses these fundamental teachings to guide her in her work. Her work is based on such Mi’gmaq values, cultural knowledge, and understanding the Mi’gmaq way of life.

Nathalie feels blessed to be working at the MMS. She enjoys working with such amazing people who have the same values, devotion, and concerns that she does. Having our communities at heart is a priority.

Nathalie’s special talents that she brings to the job include organizational and planning skills as well as leadership skills. She describes herself as open-minded, reliable, hardworking, sincere, and optimistic.

Originally, from Gaspé, Nathalie now lives in Barachois, QC with her husband, daughter, three dogs, and one cat! Her bucket list ‘to do’ list includes wanting to skydive and bungee jump!
