Onsite IT Support
These days, most organizations use a great deal of information technology (IT) including computer systems and media equipment.
It is very important that IT users within MMS have service and advice they can rely upon. This support is critical to daily office routines as well as during assemblies and meetings.
The Operations Unit of MMS is fortunate to offer IT/computer support on site at MMS to meet everyone’s needs.
Some of the duties involved in our IT services include:
- Giving advice to the Director of Operations about the purchase of new computer and media equipment, including providing cost estimates
- Installing and testing new equipment
- Repairing equipment or arranging for contractors to fix equipment
- Being a liaison with the MMS Assembly Coordinator for operating (or contracting) for media equipment onsite and offsite meetings such as community meetings, Elders’ meetings, Annual General Meetings, and other gatherings
- Troubleshooting problems with IT equipment
- Being a liaison with the MMS Communications Coordinator and with external contractors about the MMS website and any graphics equipment
Permanent IT support whenever needed means that MMS can hold successful media-rich events. And, we can present a modern website that works well and includes social media.
And, having onsite IT support means that MMS employees can rely on their office systems and computer equipment to be ready ~ on a daily basis ~ to help them do their jobs efficiently.
